Unlike ascorbic acid, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate will not exfoliate or irritate skin.

1. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a very stable, oil-soluble Vitamin C ester which has anti-oxidant activity, inhibiting lipid peroxidation. Topical use can mitigate the damaging effects of UV exposure.
